The last year and a half has seen many changes for me. I
moved from the Lower Mainland to a small town near Kamloops.
I became involved in the craft fair scene after many years,
and in doing so made many new acquaintances. This led me to
meet Sandy Butler. the owner of Coyote Corner in Ashcroft.
I am happy to announce that I am now marketing many of my
items through her lovely gift shop. I continue to design new
items for Sandy, adding special requests to the inventory.
It has also been a busy year for me in Logan Lake as I was
commissioned to do two weddings. This involved designing and
painting unique items for the bridal parties and as guest
favors. It was very exciting for me to be asked to do this
and I am proud to say my designs and glassware were much enjoyed
by all.
Most recently I was asked to design a set of toasting glasses
for a young couple marrying in Las Vegas, this was a real
challenge as the request was for flamingos, the couple was
having the wedding and reception party at the Flamingo Hotel
and the design was admired from wedding party to staff at
the hotel.
I have also continued to improve my painting skills, evolving
my art to something which brings me great pride. I have learned
many techniques and continue to grow with support of friends
and family.
